Domestic equity benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended flat in a lacklustre trading session on Friday, as investors turned cautious ahead of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)’s money policy review next week.

But the indices ended the second straight week with gains after the Union Budget, aimed at accelerating economic growth, boosted sentiment.

The BSE Sensex closed 13.91 points up at 28,240, while the Nifty50 settled 6.70 points higher at 8,740.
