The stock is the top gainer in the BSE Small-cap index while the copper manufacturer, Arcotech Limited is the top loser in the index trading at Rs 638 per share, down by 19.32%.
Venky’s India Limited is buzzing with gains of 8.51%. The stock is trading at Rs 860.45 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28336.69 down 14.93 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8795 down 8.45 points. A total of 41 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.55% at 13343.50, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading down 0.22% at 13493.94. Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Utility and Oil & Gas while Healthcare, Finance, Telecom are showing weakness on BSE.
Reliance, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Tech Mahindra, Grasim and ONGC are among the gainers, whereas BPCL, Ultratech Cement, Ambuja Cement, Hero Motocorp and Coal India are losing sheen on NSE. The INDIA VIX is up 0.43% at 13.75.
