PSU Banks are outperforming the major indices in Tuesday’s trading session. Oriental Bank of Commerce is the top gainer in the Nifty PSU Bank index. The stock is trading at Rs 126.6 per share, up by Rs 4.5 per share or 3.6%. Allahabad Bank is trading at Rs 73.9 per share, up by Rs 2.5 per share or 3.4%.
All the stocks in the Nifty PSU Bank index are trading in positive territory on Tuesday.Private Banks, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank are dragging down the BSE Bankex in the lunch hours on Tuesday.Tata Tele Services is up by nearly 19%. MTNL is up by more than 3%, Reliance Communication is up by nearly 3%, Bharti Airtel is up by nearly 1.6% whereas IDEA is down by 2.3%.
