Nifty Mid-cap 100 index touched its fresh 52-week high of 16332 levels, up by 168.7 points or 1.04%. BSE Midcap index is up by nearly 0.70% or 93 points and is trading at 13516 levels. Jindal Steel is up by nearly 10%, Adani Enterprises is up by 4.5%, Reliance Communications is up by nearly 4.5%, SAIL is up by more than 3% whereas Havells is down by 2.9%, MFSL is down by 1.17% and Marico is down by 0.86%.
Marksans Pharma is up by nearly 20%, SRS Realty Infrastructure is up by nearly 10%, Sarla Poly is up by 9%, Ramky is up by 8.3%, TTML is up by more than 7%, Mangalam Cement is up by nearly 7% and MEP is up by 6.6%.Tata Steel touched high of Rs 487.85 per share, up by Rs 19.9 per share or 4.25% on an intraday basis.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28595.69 up 126.94 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8857.65 up 35.95 points. A total of 44 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.67% at 13512.35, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.78% at 13467.64.
All the sectoral indices on BSE are trading in positive territory.Idea, Tata Steel, GAIL, BPCL and Asian Paints are among the gainers, whereas Axis Bank, M&M, Yes Bank, Bosch Ltd. and Tech Mahindra are losing sheen on NSE.The INDIA VIX is up 0.1.37% at 13.61.
