The INDIA VIX is down 2.62% at 13.84. BSE Sensex is trading at 28193.95,
up 0.14 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8739.35, up 14.65 points. FMCG heavyweight, ITC Limited is trading at Rs 268.85 per share, down by Rs 4.55 per share or 1.66%. The stock is dragging down the BSE FMCG index.
Radico Khaitan Limited is the top gainer in the BSE FMCG index. The stock is trading at Rs 128.30 per share, up by Rs 8 per share or 6.65%. KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation Ltd., is the second top gainer in BSE FMCG index, trading at Rs 40.90 per share, up by Rs 1.75 per share or 4.47%.
DLF is trading above its 200 DMA, contributing 31% to Realty index gains. DLF Limited is trading at
Rs 140.35 per share, up by Rs 3.15 per share or 2.3%.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28193.95, up 0.14 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8739.35, up 14.65 points. A total of 21 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.57% at 13187.82, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.62% at 13316.94. Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Healthcare, Information Technology while FMCG is showing weakness on BSE.
Sun Pharma, GAIL, Tata Motors and Eicher Motors are among the gainers; whereas ICICI Bank, ITC, BPCL, Dr. Reddy’s and Bharti Infratel are losing sheen on NSE.
