There are 1134 advances, 450 declines and 328 unchanged stocks on NSE showing strong positivity floating in the market. Sun Pharma, Infosys, RIL and TCS are contributing the most to the Sensex gains. Sun Pharma is the top Sensex gainer. The stock traded on high of Rs 641.30 per share, up by Rs 18.8 per share or 3.02%. The stock witnessed decline in its open interest by 0.8% reflecting short covering position.
Infosys and TCS witnessed addition in its open interest by 15.78% and 6.04% respectively. These two IT giants are pulling the Sensex up. There is long built up position seen in these two stocks. Nifty FMCG and Nifty Media are trading in negative territory.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.78% at 13291.26, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.93% at 13234.82.Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Healthcare, Information Technology and Telecom while FMCG is showing weakness on BSE.
Sun Pharma, GAIL, Tata Motors and Eicher Motors are among the gainers; whereas ICICI Bank, ITC, BPCL, Dr. Reddy’s and Bharti Infratel are losing sheen on NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.78% at 13291.26, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.93% at 13234.82.Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Healthcare, Information Technology and Telecom while FMCG is showing weakness on BSE.
