Reliance Industries (RIL) is helping to keep the markets in green. The stock is up by more than 5%, and is contributing to the Sensex gains by more than 117 points.RIL's stock crossed Rs 1250 per share in today's trade and is inching higher. The stock has crossed the mark of Rs 1250 per share for the first time since May 18, 2009.
Share price of Talwalkar’s surges 3.87%, gaining Rs 8.15 per share in early morning trade on Monday, 27 February 2017. It made a high of Rs 224 per share.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 28940.85 up 47.88 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 8946.20 up 6.70 points. A total of 33 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.28% at 13569.61, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.44% at 13646.89.Some buying activity is seen in Energy, Healtcare, IT, Utilities, and Consumer Durables whereas, FMCG, Finance, Telecom, and Auto are showing weakness on BSE. Reliance, Aurobindo Pharma, Hindustan Uniliver, Sun Pharma, Gail, Bajaj Auto and Lupin are among the gainers, whereas Infratel, Axis Bank, Idea, Bharti Airtel, Zeel and Powergrid are losing on the NSE. The INDIA VIX is up 5.22% at 14.06.
