Bharti Airtel is the Sensex top gainer and is up by more than 1.8%. M&M is up by 1.4% and Asian Paints is up by nearly 1%.Coal India is down by 2.45% dragging the major index down along with Bajaj Auto which is down by nearly 1.3%. TCS is down by 1.2%.There are 941 advances, 660 declines and 308 unchanged stocks on NSE in the morning hours on Tuesday reflecting strong positive undertone in the market.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading flat at 13533.44, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.58% at 13689.20.Some buying activity is seen in Healthcare, Finance and Telecom while Oil & Gas, Consumer Durables, Banks and Energy are showing weakness on BSE.
Hindalco, Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra, Larson & Toubro, Bank of Baroda and Tech Mahindra are among the gainers, whereas Idea, Coal India, Hindustan Unilever, ITC and Ambuja Cements are losing sheen on NSE.The INDIA VIX is trading up 0.87% at 13.79.
