Bank Nifty has moved in positive territory in the closing hour on Wednesday and has pulled up the major indices in the market from day’s low. Bank Nifty was trading higher by 36 points at 23734 level. Punjab National Bank is the top gainer in the index trading higher by 1.67% at Rs 146.3 per share.
There are 808 advances, 829 declines and 313 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31288 down 8 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9635 down 18 points. A total of 54 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 47 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
