The BSE Capital Goods is one of the top losing indices on Wednesday. Axis Bank is majorly contributing to the index losses and dragging it to lower level. BEML was down 2.5% at Rs 1438 per share.Other stocks viz. Reliance Defence and Engineering was down 2.0% at Rs 58.65 per share, Suzlon Energy was down 2.2% at Rs 17.70 per share, Finolex Cables was down 1.8% at Rs 467.15 per share, Havells India was down 1.8% at Rs 462.50 per share and GE T&D was down 1.1% at Rs 336.95 per share.
On the contrary, Welspun Corp is surging ahead on the bourses. It was up by 5.7% at Rs 106.35 per share. It also hit a 52-week high value of Rs 107.85.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,812 down 0.47%, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9485 down 0.27%. A total of 18 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 57 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
