Bank Nifty continued its Tuesday’s loss in Wednesday’s trading session. The index was trading lower by 55 points at 23642 level. IndusInd Bank and Yes Bank are the top losers in the index trading lower by over 1% in the afternoon hours.Private Bank stocks are mainly contributing to the Bank Nifty losses. PSU Bank stocks are trading in positive territory.

 

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31235 down 61 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9622 down 31 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 40 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.2% at 14874, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.3% at 15726.
