The Nifty PSU Bank is the top losing index on Friday. All major PSU banks are trading in the red territory. Andhra Bank has incurred major losses among other PSU banks. It is down 3.8% at Rs 56 per share.Other banks viz. Canara Bank is down 2.6% at Rs 341.10 per share, Union Bank of India is down 2.1% at Rs 147.45 per share, Oriental Bank of Commerce is down 2.1% at Rs 144 per share, Bank of Baroda is down 1.9% at Rs 161.95 per share and SBI is also down by 1.9% at Rs 288.65 per share.
IDBI Bank is trading lower by 0.9% at Rs 56.40 per share. It has also hit a 52-week low value at Rs 55.55. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,169 down by 120 points, while Nifty is trading down by 48 points at 9,581. A total of 20 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 49 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
