Nifty Pharma index is the top losing index among sectoral indices on BSE. Lupin is the top loser in the index trading lower by 4.22% at Rs 1132.45 per share. Divi’s Lab and Cadila are trading down by more than 2%. Other pharma stocks like Dr Reddy’s, Sun Pharma and Cipla are also trading in red zone.
There were 953 advances, 662 declines and 337 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive sentiments floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31111 up 35 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9595 up 17 points. A total of 81 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 34 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
