The BSE Realty is the top gaining index in Thursday’s morning session. It is up 1.5% at 2070. DLF is contributing majorly to the index gains and pulling it to higher levels. DLF is up by 2.1% at Rs 191.55 per share.
Other stocks in the index viz. Indiabulls Real Estate is up 1.2% at Rs 188 per share, Prestige Estates is up 1.7% at Rs 269.85 per share, Godrej Properties is up 1.6% at Rs 558.90 per share, HDIL is up 1.7% at Rs 91 per share and Oberoi Realty is also trading higher by 0.8% at Rs 381 per share.
At 11 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31142 down 13 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9603 down 15 points. A total of 71 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 28 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE mid-cap Index is trading up 0.12% at 14817, while BSE small-cap Index is trading up 0.51% at 15668.
Some buying activity is seen in Telecom, Power and Realty indices, while Auto, Bankex and Oil & Gas indices are showing weakness on BSE.
Aurobindo Pharma, Sun Pharma, Cipla and Lupin are among the gainers, whereas BPCL, IOC, GAIL and Coal India are losing on the NSE.
