Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is likely to take ‘neutral’ stance in today’s monetary policy announcement. Media interaction with RBI top management will start at 1430 hours today.Unichem Labs stock rose 2% after USFDA clears EIR for its Ghaziabad unit. Gujarat Pipavav stock also jumped 3% after 39 lakh shares traded in a block deal.

Nifty Pharma Index soared 1%. Cadila surged by 9%, Glenmark surged by 2% and Sun Pharma, Aurobindo rose by 1%. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31209 up 18 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9644 up 6 points. A total of 55 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 37 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
