IOC is down 2.9% at Rs 408 per share and BPCL is trading lower by 2.8% at Rs 671.95 per share.
Other stocks viz. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation is down 2.8% at Rs 530.85 per share, ONGC is down 0.9% at Rs 167.90 per share, GAIL is down 1.2% at Rs 376 per share and Petronet LNG is also down 0.5% at Rs 426.90 per share.
Meanwhile, Sunil Hitech and Ginni Filaments are buzzing on the bourses. Ginni Filaments is up by 17.2% at Rs 57.85 per share and Sunil Hitech is up by 9.8% at Rs 13.81 per share.
At 1 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31074 down 81 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9580 down 37 points. A total of 80 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 31 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE mid-cap Index is trading down 0.02% at 14797, while BSE small-cap Index is trading up 0.35% at 15642.
Some buying activity is seen in Healthcare, Power and Realty indices, while Auto, Bankex and Capital Goods indices are showing weakness on BSE.
