IT giant, Tata Consultancy Services is trading higher by 1.21% at Rs 2592.9 per share. The stock is the top contributor to Sensex gains.Tata Elxsi is the top gainer in Nifty IT index. It is trading higher by 9.6% at Rs 1486.2 per share. Mindtree is trading higher by close to 3% at Rs 554.45 per share.

There were 938 advances, 676 declines and 351 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive bias floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31339 up 65 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9683 up 29 points. Nifty and Sensex touched all-time highs of 9686 and 31355 levels respectively. A total of 80 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 35 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
