The BSE Consumer Durables is the top gaining index in Tuesday’s morning session. It is up 1.4% at 16,164.Titan Company is contributing majorly to the index gains and pulling it to higher levels. Titan is up by 2.6% at Rs 527 per share.Other stocks in the index viz. PC Jeweller is trading higher by 2.1% at Rs 512 per share, Whirlpool is up by 1.5% at Rs 1140 per share, Symphony is up 1.3% at Rs 1300 per share, Crompton Greaves is up 0.4% at Rs 221.15 per share and Nilkamal is also up by 0.7% at Rs 1970 per share.
Meanwhile, the aviation stocks are surging on the bourses. Interglobe Aviation is trading higher by 3% at Rs 1234 per share, SpiceJet is up by 2.2% at Rs 127.40 per share, Jet Airways is up 1.7% at Rs 554 per share and Global Vectra Helicorp is also up by 1.2% at Rs 168.50 per share. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,358 up 46 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9668 up 10 points. A total of 63 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 42 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
