IT stock were trading lower on Friday’s trading session with Infosys and TCS heavily contributing to the BSE IT index downfall.Infosys was trading lower by 2.6% at Rs 930.55 per share at 09:24 hours IST. TCS was down by 0.8% at Rs 2,501 per share.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31130 down 83 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9620 down 27 points. A total of 54 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 45 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
There are 657 advances, 836 declines and 448 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting a positive bias floating in the market.The BSE Mid cap Index is trading down 0.2% at 14805, while BSE Small cap Index is trading up 0.8% at 15500.Some buying activity is een in Oil & Gas, Power and Realty and Bankex, Auto, Telecom and Finance showing weakness on BSE.YES Bank, Reliance, Bharti Airtet, Indiabulls housing Finance are among the gainers, whereas Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Adani Ports, GAIL, Wipro, Lupin are losing on the NSE.
