The BSE Realty is the top gaining index in Monday’s morning session. It is up 0.9% at 2019. Indiabulls Real Estate is contributing majorly to the index gains and pulling it to higher levels. Indiabulls Real Estate is up by 4% at Rs 183.75 per share.
Other stocks in the index viz. DLF is up 0.7% at Rs 185.90 per share, Prestige Estates is up 1.4% at Rs 256.85 per share, The Phoenix Mills is up 0.8% at Rs 448 per share, Unitech is up by 0.7% at Rs 5.21 per share and HDIL is also trading higher by 0.2% at Rs 88 per share.
Meanwhile, Mawana Sugars is buzzing on the bourses. It is up by 9% at Rs 84.20 per share. The stock witnessed a spurt in the volume by more than 4.97 times. Reliance Communications (RCom), an Indian Internet access and telecom company during Monday’s trading session is buzzing on the bourses ahead of the company's IMG meet. It is trading higher by 2.4% at Rs 18.85 per share.
At 11 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31130 down 131 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9625 down 42 points. A total of 65 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 34 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The BSE mid-cap Index is trading down 0.18% at 14848, while BSE small-cap Index is trading down 0.09% at 15535. Some buying activity is seen in Telecom, Healthcare and Realty indices, while FMCG, Bankex and Capital Goods indices are showing weakness on BSE.
