Nifty Media index is trading lower by 2.88% at 2950 level. Eros Media is top loser in the index trading lower by nearly 4% at Rs 215.35 per share. Other media stocks like Hathway, Zee Entertainment, DEN Networks and PVR are also trading lower by over 3% on Tuesday. All the stocks in index are declining signalling strong negative undertone.
The advance declines ratio stood at 389:1222 at NSE with bears dominating the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31045 down 92 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9525 down 49 points. A total of 16 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 50 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
