Broader market indices have been outperforming the major indices in the market on Monday. Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd is the top gainer in BSE Mid-cap index trading higher by 3.6% at Rs 176.45 per share.Larsen and Toubro Limited has emerged as top contributor to the Sensex gains. It is trading higher by 1.3% at Rs 1807.65 per share. Reliance Industries Limited is also contributing most to the Sensex gains.
There were 1036 advances, 559 declines and 369 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive bias floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31336 up 63 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9684 up 30.6 points. Nifty and Sensex touched all-time highs of 9686 and 31355 levels respectively. A total of 74 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 29 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
