Selling pressure intensified on the D-Street in the afternoon session after media reports surfaced that tensions across the LoC intensified after Pakistan Air Force’s jet fighter planes made flights near the Siachen glacier during the day.
Anil Ambani led-company stocks drop after Reliance Communication bonds fall to record low after rating cut. Reliance Communication is down by 8%, Reliance Capital is down by 6.2%, Reliance Infra is down by 7%, Relinace Power is down by 5%.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,362 up 2 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9378 up 7 points. A total of 10 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 74 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
The INDIA VIX is down 0.6% at 12.
