The BSE Oil and Gas index is trading down 0.36% at 14,456. Stocks such as IOC, BPCL, IGL, Reliance and ONGC are trading in the red. IOC and BPCL together are contributing to the index losses and dragging it to lower levels.

IOC is trading down 0.9% at Rs 437, BPCL is down 0.8% at Rs 728, Indraprastha Gas is down 0.4% at Rs 1046 and ONGC is down 0.5% at Rs 190. The stocks such as Petronet LNG and Oil India are trading in green. Petronet LNG has reached its day’s high. It is trading 1.4% up at Rs 435 on BSE.

 The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,049 up 154 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9336 up 24 points. A total of 93 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 12 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
