The BSE Sensex opened at 30,057 up 0.53%, while the Nifty50 opened up by 0.44% at 9352 mark. ICICI Bank is the top Nifty gainer and IndusInd Bank is the top Nifty loser in the morning hours. ICICI Bank is trading at Rs 286.70 per share up by 5.11% whereas IndusInd Bank is trading at Rs 1426.80 per share, down by 0.81%.

There are 990 advances, 423 declines and 487 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting some positive bias floating in the market. On Wednesday, the rupee closed at 64.15 per US dollar.

Nifty50 is facing strong supply around levels of 9,350-9,360, hence, a momentum is likely to be witnessed only if Nifty50 moves above these levels, and if it does, it is likely to scale to the level of 9,400, On the downside, the zone of 9,250-9,270 is a strong support zone.
