The aviation stocks surged post-lunch hours on Thursday. Global Vectra Helicorp is up by 19.9% at Rs 122 per share, Spicejet is up by 3.7% at Rs 103 per share, Jet Airways is up by 1.5% at Rs 471 per share and InterGlobe Aviation is up by 1.2% at Rs 1071 per share.

The Nifty Bank index is at a record high. It is up by 2.6% at 23,126.30. The stocks in the such as IndusInd Bank is up 3% at Rs 1456 per share, ICICI Bank is up by 3.2% at Rs 316 per share, Yes Bank is up by 3% at Rs 1468 per share, Federal Bank is up by 3% at Rs 110.55 per share and HDFC Bank is up by 2.5% at Rs 1606 per share.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30673 up 372 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9478 up 118 points. A total of 17 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 70 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
