Asian Paints, an Indian multinational paint company on Friday slipped nearly 3% on the BSE in early hours of trade. The company during post market hours of Thursday had come up with its Q4 earnings report.
also trading down 2.3% at Rs 142.50 per share.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,175.66 down 75 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9384.75 down 37 points.A total of 33 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.99% at 14809.15, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading down 0.84% at 15522.62.
Some buying activity is seen in Information Technology index, while Realty, Telecom, Healthcare and Healthcare indices are showing weakness on BSE. Infosys, HCL Technologies, Coal India and Tata Motors are among the gainers, whereas Asian Paints, Bharti Infratel, Ambuja Cements and ACC are losing on the NSE.The INDIA VIX is down 3% at 10.5.
