The BSE Consumer Durables index is the top losing index on Wednesday. It is trading down 0.7% at 15,967.The stocks of Titan and Crompton Greaves together are contributing to the index losses and dragging it to lower levels. Titan is trading down 0.9% at Rs 483 per share and Crompton Greaves is down by 1.6% at Rs 239 per share.

Other stocks in the index such as Symphony is trading down by 3% at Rs 1452 per share, Blue Star is down 1.1% at Rs 669 per share and TTK Prestige is also down 0.3% at Rs 6432 per share.The stocks in the index that are trading in green are Whirlpool, PC Jewellers and Nilkamal. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,618 up 35 points, while NSE Nifty is trading flat at 9511. A total of 71 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
