The major indices in the markets remained weak on Friday. Nifty closed at 9400 levels down by 21 points while Sensex closed at 30188 levels down by 62 points.On NSE, there were 522 advances, 1118 declines and 316 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong negative bias floating in the market.On a day when the markets were losing sheen, there were around 62 stocks on NSE which touched their fresh 52-week highs.

Glenmark Pharma stock was the eye-catcher in the Friday’s trading session. The stock touched its intraday low of Rs 751.1 per share down by nearly 17%. this is the biggest intraday fall of the stock since past seven years. It had tanked nearly 17.4% on an intraday basis on August 19, 2009.

In the banking space, Yes Bank reported lower non-performing assets than what was judged by the Reserve Bank of India for the year ended March 31, 2016. The stock was the top Nifty loser which closed at Rs 1483.85 per share down by 6.04%.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited stock closed lower by 16.03% at Rs 759.35 per share on BSE.

Oriental Bank of Commerce closed lower by 6.81% at Rs 163.4 per share on BSE.

Nilkamal Limited stock closed lower by 5.79% at Rs 2129 per share on BSE.

Torrent Power Limited closed lower by 4.46% at Rs 212.95 per share on BSE.
