The Mid-cap stocks have been trading higher, in line with the performance of major indices in the market. Berger Paints is the top gainer in the BSE Mid-cap index trading higher by 6.38% at Rs 258.4 per share. Ashok Leyland is the second top gainer in the index trading higher by 4.42% at Rs 89.85 per share.

The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30929 up 179 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9558 up 48 points. A total of 34 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 31 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
