Benchmark equity indices on Thursday opened at record highs, whereas the broader markets also joined their rally gaining for the 4th consecutive session. Zee Entertainment, HCL Technologies are among the top Nifty gainers on back of strong Q4 earnings.

BEL, Britannia Industries, Voltas, Exide Industries, Quess Corp, Sharda Corpchem, Century Textiles, Dalmia Bharat, Gayatri Projects, Caplin and V-Guard hit their record highs on Thursday trade joining the major equity indices in their rally. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30317 up 68 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9436 up 29 points. A total of 71 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 9 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
