Market analysts had given the level of 9400 as the psychological resistance for Nifty. However, in line with the street expectations, the Nifty has touched the level of 9400 in closing hours of today’s trading session. The Sensex has touched its all-time high of 30233 level.
In the closing hour, HDFC, Reliance, Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC Bank and ITC are contributing the most to the Sensex gains. The BSE Mid-cap index has also touched all-time high of 14970 level. NLC India Limited stock is the top gainer in the Mid-cap index trading higher by 4.48% at Rs 107.35 per share.
There are 1019 advances, 601 declines and 335 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positivity floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30167 up 234 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9404 up 87 points. A total of 126 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
