The BSE Healthcare index is the top losing index on Monday. It is down 1% at 14,708.Sun Pharma and Lupin together are contributing to the index losses and dragging it to lower levels. Sun Pharma is down 2.2% at Rs 638 per share and Lupin is down 2.4% at Rs 1282 per share.The stocks in the index that are trading in the green territory are Bliss GVS Pharma, Syncom Formulations and Neuland Laboratories.Meanwhile, United Spirits surged 7.3% at Rs 2061 per share on BSE.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30,599 up 135 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9454 up 26 points. A total of 31 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 30 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading down 0.30% at 14,599, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.01% at 15,229.
