As of 1200 hours, the data available with National Stock Exchange shows that the HUDCO IPO has got subscribed by 17%. ONGC stock is the top gainer in the BSE Oil and Gas index. The stock is trading higher by 2.29% at Rs 187.6 per share.The company’s subsidiary, ONGC Videsh has recently announced that it has encountered exciting result in its well Mariposa-1 which is under drilling in CPO-5 block of Colombia.
Going against the rising trend in major indices, the major metal stocks have been trading lower in Monday’s trading session. Hindalco is trading lower by 2.15% at Rs 183.3 per share. Vedanta Limited is trading lower by 2.8% at Rs 220.55 per share. Tata Steel Limited stock is trading lower by 3.5% at Rs 429.5 per share.
The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 29941 up 82 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9321 up 35 points. A total of 61 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 19 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.54% at 14798, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.57% at 15443.
