Nifty continues to remain under pressure post a gap down opening, crucial support is now placed at 9370. The broader market indices are under performing in Thursday’s trade. United Breweries Limited is one of the top losers in the bunch of mid-cap stocks. The stock is trading lower by around 4% at Rs 784 per share. Bharat Forge Limited is also trading lower by around 3.4% at Rs 1085.4 per share.
There are 381 advances, 1220 declines and 347 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting that the bears are dominating in the market. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30530 down 128 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9470 down 55 points. ITC is the biggest contributor to the Sensex losses. A total of 31 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 19 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
