The BSE Sensex opened at 29,966.24 up 0.13%, while the Nifty50 opened up by 0.13% at 9326.25 mark. Indian Oil Corporation is the top Nifty gainer and Bharti Infratel is the top Nifty loser in the morning hours. Indian Oil Corporation is trading at Rs 431.25 per share up by 0.64% whereas Bharti Infratel is trading at Rs 361.35 per share, down by 0.85%.

There are 907 advances, 480 declines and 515 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive bias floating in the market. The rupee opened at 64.42 per US dollar lower by around 12 paise. On Monday, the rupee closed at 64.30 per US dollar.

Nifty50 has immediate support placed in the region of 9,250-9,270 and a decisive move below this region may open up for the level of 9,200. On the upside, the level of 9,350 may act as a resistance level and if Nifty50 holds above this level it is likely to scale up to the level of 9,380.
