Housing Development & Infrastructure Limited, an Indian real estate major, on Tuesday’s opening session climbed 2.3% on coming out of F&O ban. Generally, when the combined open interest in its derivative contracts crosses 95% of the market-wide position limit, a stock goes under the ban in F&O. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 30478 up 156 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9483 up 38 points. A total of 73 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 16 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.23% at 15074, while BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.41% at 15714.Some buying activity is seen in Capital Goods, Metal, Pharma, Auto, while Oil & Gas, Energy, Finance, Telecom are showing weakness on BSE. Bharti Airtel, ACC, Bharti Infratel, TCS, Reliance Industries Limited are among the gainers, whereas Hindalco, Asian Paints, Zee Entertainment, Bank of Baroda, Coal India are losing sheen on NSE in the first trading hour. The INDIA VIX is down 2.45% at 10.41.
