Markets have recovered from day’s low after the announcement of WPI inflation data. Bank Nifty has turned green trading at 23939 level, up by 50 points or 0.21%. It is few points away from the record high level.

Bank of India is top gainer in Nifty PSU Bank index trading at Rs 147.2 per share, up by 1.97%. Other bank stocks like Canara Bank, SBI, Bank of Baroda, PNB and Allahabad Bank are trading higher by over 1%.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32006 down 30 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9872 down 19 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
