Nifty has been trading near its day’s low of 9791. The immediate support level may be placed at 9770 level.Meanwhile, oil exploration and production companies are gaining grounds on the bourses. ONGC is top gainer in the sector trading at around Rs 165 per share, up by 2.93%. Oil India Limited is trading at Rs 270 per share, up by 2.36%, Hindustan Oil Exploration is up by 1.75% and Nagarjuna Oil Refinery Limited is up by 1.5%.
There are 1264 advances, 1125 declines and 134 unchanged stocks on BSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31749 up 2 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9793 up 7 points. A total of 42 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
