Markets are holding to their gains as benchmarks are jumping higher. Broader market indices are also inching up wherein BSE Midcap and BSE Small cap are up over 0.91%. Meanwhile, BSE Power is one among the top gaining index on Wednesday. Powergrid Corporation of India is majorly contributing to the index gains and pushing it to higher level. Powergrid Corporation of India is up 1.6% at Rs 219.25 per share.
Other stocks viz. GMR Infra is up 2.5% at Rs 18.15 per share, Thermax is up 2.1% at Rs 916.00 per share, ABB India is up 1.9% at Rs 1455.30 per share, JSW Energy is up 1.8% at Rs 63.60 per share and BHEL is up 1.3% at Rs 145.20 per share.The S&P BSE Sensex is up 232 points trading at 31,943, while Nifty is up 69 points trading at 9896. A total of 69 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 20 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
