Benchmark indices are mildly offs highs post-lunch hours whereas BSE Midcap index slips in negative territory.BSE Power is one of the top gaining index during post-lunch hours. Larsen & Toubro is majorly contributing to the index gains and pushing it to higher level. NTPC is up 2.40% at Rs 164.00 per share.
Other stocks from the index viz. Suzlon Energy is up 3.7% at Rs 19.55 per share, BHEL is up 1.9% at Rs 140.10 per share, ABB India is up 1% at Rs 1470.00 per share, Power Grid Corporation of India is up 0.71% per share at Rs 212.85 per share and JSW Energy is up 0.5% at Rs 64.70 per share.
On the contrary, GMR Infra is down by 1.3% at Rs 18.75 per share, NHPC is down 1.0% at Rs 31.80 per share, CESC is down 1.0% at Rs 864.75 per share on BSE. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31,849 up 134 points, while Nifty is up 0.50% at 9819 .A total of 66 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 13 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
