Nifty IT index is top gainer among the sectoral indices on NSE. The index is trading at 10552 level, up by 107 points or 1.03% despite the major indices in the market are showing weakness. HCL Technologies is top gainer in IT index trading at Rs 883 per share, up by Rs 14.9 per share or 1.72%. Infosys is up by 1.64%.
There are 681 advances, 949 declines and 332 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly negative bias floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31829 down 245 points, while Nifty is trading at 9860 down 55 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 18 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
