Nifty has turned choppy in after-noon trades, and is continued to hover around 9855 levels. Immediate support level may be placed around 9845 mark. ITC is still dragging the major indices in the market.Major cement stocks have been gaining despite the market sentiments are bearish in nature. Ultratech Cement is top Nifty gainer trading at around Rs 4431.95 per share, up by 1.94%. ACC was up by 1.81%. Orient Cement, Ambuja Cement, JK Cement and Dalmia Bharat are also trading in positive territory.

There are 693 advances, 929 declines and 339 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly negative bias floating in the market.At 1 PM, the S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31795 down 279 points, while Nifty is trading at 9850 down 63 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 18 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
