Nifty has erased all the morning gains and is trading almost flat. Immediate support level for Nifty may be placed at its 5-DMA of 9886 level while the resistance level remains at its all-time high of 9928 level.Canara Bank Q1FY18 results came in mixed versus street estimates. The futures contract of Canara Bank is most active contract by value and by volume in the morning hours on Thursday.

Canara Bank is the top loser in bank sector. It is trading lower by nearly 5% at around Rs 354.25 per share while the futures contract is also trading down by nearly 5%.There are 824 advances, 742 declines and 392 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting fairly positive sentiments floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31984 up 29 points, while Nifty is trading at 9904 up 5 points. A total of 57 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 19 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
