The BSE Sensex opened higher by 20 points at 32,248, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 19 points at 9983 level.Vedanta was the top Nifty gainer trading at Rs 279.15 per share, up by 1.79% while Axis Bank was the top Nifty loser trading at Rs 540 per share, down by 0.91%. There were 916 advances, 510 declines and 475 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive sentiments floating in the market.BSE Mid-cap index was trading at 15345 level, up by 0.22% while BSE Small-cap index was trading at 16105 level, up by 0.32%.
