Benchmark indices are trading near their record levels whereas BSE- Mid cap index which is showing weakness throughout the trading hours of Monday’s intraday trade turned to trade in positive territory. BSE Realty is the top gaining index on Monday. Unitech is majorly contributing to the index gains and pushing it to higher levels. Unitech is up 17.91% at Rs 9.02 per share.
Other stocks viz. Indiabulls Real Estate is up 3.6% at Rs 204.25 per share, Godrej Properties is up 2.4% at Rs 515.95 per share, HDIL is up 1.7% at Rs 86.15 per share and DLF is up 1.5% at Rs 204.50 per share. On the contrary, Prestige Estates Projects is down 2.4% at Rs 259.15 per share.
The S&P BSE Sensex is up 89 points trading at 32,110, while Nifty is up 0.36 points trading at 9921. A total of 69 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 20 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
