Nifty and Sensex have been trading rangebound. Immediate resistance level for Nifty can be placed at 9830 level. Nifty IT index is trading in negative territory since the heavyweight TCS is trading at Rs 2461 per share down by 0.58%.
Nifty’s downfall can be attributed to the weak trade of IT, Bank and FMCG stocks. ITC is the top Nifty loser trading lower by 0.67% at Rs 328.2 per share dragging down Nifty.There are 924 advances, 669 declines and 368 unchanged stocks on BSE reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 31771 up 24 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 9803 up 17 points. A total of 45 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 15 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
