Wipro is trading up 7.43% at Rs 289.00 per share on BSE and Relaince Industries is trading up 2.7% at Rs 1570.35 per share on BSE.BSE Energy is the top gaining index in the morning session on Friday. It is up by 1.6% at 3675.86. Reliance Industries is contributing majorly to the index gains and pulling it to higher levels.
Other stocks in the index viz. Deep Industries is up 3.2% at Rs 283.95 per share, MRPL is up 2.2% at Rs 128.75 per share, Coal India is up 1.7% at Rs 259.95 per share, Gulf Oil Lubricants is up 1.3% at Rs 824.35 per share and Gujarat NRE Coke is up 1.1% at Rs 1.7 per share.
Balaji Telefilms soared over 5% as the company has proposed stake sale to Reliance Industries. The stock touched its 52-week high of 202.80 per share on Friday. The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,025 up 121 points, while Nifty is trading at 9909 up 36 points. A total of 42 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 10 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
