Nifty opened at 10034 level, up by 20 points and Sensex opened at 32412 level, up by 103 points.GAIL was top Nifty gainer trading at Rs 382.9 per share, up by 0.78% whereas Dr Reddy’s was top Nifty loser trading at Rs 2423.5 per share, down by 1.68%.
There were 619 advances, 344 declines and 314 unchanged stocks on NSR reflecting strong positive sentiments floating in the market. HDFC was most active stock by value on NSE trading at Rs 1782.9 per share, down by 0.14%.Key results for the day: BEL, Hexaware, ICL, Indigo, Tech Mahindra, Godrej Consumer Products, Siemens, Shriram Transport, Torrent Pharma, UPL and V-Guard.
