Markets are taking a breath as benchmark indices are trading mildly lower from their highs touched in today’s trade.BSE Bankex is one of the top gaining index during pre-lunch hours on Thursday. It is up by 0.66% at 26,978. ICICI Bank is majorly contributing to the index gains and pushing it to higher levels.ICICI Bank is up 1.33% at Rs 296.65 per share.

Other stocks viz. Yes Bank is up 1.8% at Rs 1543.40 per share, Axis Bank is up 1.1% at Rs 513.25 per share, Kotak Mahindra Bank is up 0.5% at Rs 962.05 per share, HDFC Bank is up 0.2% at Rs 1685.75 per share and IndusInd Bank is up 0.1% at Rs 1575.65 per share.

Goa Carbon soared 4.51% at Rs 381.30 per share on BSE as it reported its Q1FY18 earnings wherein net profit surged to Rs 5.74 crore from Rs 83 lakh during the corresponding quarter last year.The S&P BSE Sensex is trading at 32,016 up 211 points, while Nifty is trading at 9871 up 55 points. A total of 83 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 14 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
